Description |

Age group manager (all age groups) |
Manage age group, coordinate movement between events, supervise events, keep kids active. |
|
Age group manager assist (all age groups) |
Assist age group manager. ie record results, measure, get fruit, line kids up, assist with activities. |
|
Set up |
Arrive at track at 4.30pm and commence setting up equipment. |
|
Pack up |
Assist with pack up of all equipment by 7.30pm |
|
Result entry |
Enter results from field events. Can be done post event. Basic computer skills required. |
|
Starters marshall |
Assist starter by lining athletes up for races. Some coaching required. |
|
Starter |
Start all track events. Knowledge of start procedure required -training provided. |
|
Timer |
Manage timing equipment. Training and support provided. |
|
Timer Assist |
Assist with timing. Scan athlete barcodes. |
|
Finish marshall |
Assist with catching athletes and lining up to record times. Allocate place cards in circular events. |
|
On track |
Run all on track events. Organise games and activities for younger groups. |
|
Discus |
Run all Discus events. Need to know rules and provide some coaching. |
|
High Jump |
Run all High Jump events. Need to know rules and provide some coaching. |
|
Long Jump |
Run all Long jump events. Need to know rules and provide some coaching. |
|
Shot Put |
Run all Shot Put events. Needs to know rules and provide some coaching |
|
Triple Jump |
Run all Triple Jump events. Need to know rules and provide some coaching. |
|
Turbo/Javelin |
Run all Turbo and Javelin events. Need to know rules and provide some coaching |
|
Canteen assist |
Collect fruit, chop fruit, deliver fruit & clean up. Assist with BBQ’s when in operation. |
|
First Aid |
First Aid Certificate or skills required. Be on call to provide first aid. Can combine with other roles. |
|
Registration Assist |
Assist the registrar with distributing registration packs and T-shirt orders. |
|
Announcer |
Announce information over the PA system. Need to be confident on a microphone. |
